Light bulbs are not actually “light bulbs” but dark absorbers. When you turn them on, they suck the dark out of the room. You can prove this by holding your hand under a “light bulb”. The dark will stack up under your hand where its path to the absorber is blocked by your hand. When they quit working and turn a dark color, it’s not because they burnt out, it’s because they’re full.
Sometimes I feel like hurting someone!!
This was the sight I came home to today, after a hard days work, visiting my father at the hospital and coping with all the numnuts who aparently have a driverslicense.

I haven’t been logging any entries here for a while…
I’ve been visiting my dad in the hospital a lot these last couple of weeks and that has been using up a lot of my energy.
He has been really ill, but he is finally getting better 🙂

After a night in fight club, everything in the real world gets the volume turned down. Nothing can piss you off. Your word is law, and if other people break that law or question you, even that doesn’t piss you off.
This is how they say good morning in Russia, but only on Mondays (or so I’m told).
And yes, this is how Russians smile.

Newyearseve came and went, fun bits, lots of them, fireworks, excellent food and good wine. And just a hint of hangovers yesterday, perfect! (Well, I don’t think it is a good idea to start a year without just a bit of pain).
