I’ve just read my first book on my brand new Kindle from Amazon and it is a really cool piece of kit! The size is just about perfect for me, it fits nicely in my bag and it is small enough to use in bed at night. The screen is really awesome, it is just like reading on real paper. The 3G connection, amazon call it Whispernet, works great and books appear on the Kindle in a jiffy, both when ordering them on amazon.com or directly from the kindle.
