Sci-fi and pen and paper…

Went to see Star Trek tonight with a very good friend. Besides from the movie beeing great and talking about that, we talked about books, sci-fi books, wich we both have a weeknes for.

Hammilton, Herbert, Elizabeth Moon or Kevin J. Anderson… uhm I like it!

Peter, my friend with whom I was watching Star Trek, told me that he had just read Starship Troopers. Well, I’ve updated mu wishlist (again). I need that book. Buy me gifts!

Food for the mind

I’ve been reading a lot of science fiction these last months. I began with Dune. both the new ones by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson and the old original ones. It blows my mind away how cool that universe is! Then I found Peter F. Hamilton and I discovered both the Confederation, the Commonwealth and Greg Mandel. I finished “The Dreaming Void” a couple of weeks ago and am now , impatiently, waiting for “The Temporal Void”. While waiting I’m reading Kevin J. Anderson’s “Saga of the Seven Suns“, not as good as his stuff with Brian Herbert, but surely worth a read! And I have a trilogi in reserve, in case Peter F Hamilton takes his time, Elizabeth Moon’s Serano Trilogi, can’t wait to see what thats all about!
