All things computer!

libcbtsysinfo_0

I think this post is a bit overdue.

A couple of weeks ago I noticed a new folder in my home folder. It spooked me a bit to begin with (debian-user list). But I soon discovered that the folder only appeared when I was using my internet bank solution (A BEC webbanking solution). I gave their support a call and surely, it was a part of something they called PC-DNA. They agreed with me in that it probably wasn’t the nicest bit of code they had ever produced and told me that they might do it differently in the next update.

So, if you suffer from this, give your bank a call, who knows, if enough of us makes a fuss, they might change it.

adsl…

I’m online at cybercitys mercy these days.
It seems my phonecables are in such a state that any type of interconnection is impossible 🙁

So, I have to use my cableTV providers solution. They only provide 512 kbit upload, so I’m pissed…

Perhaps that will change in time. Fingers crossed!

waste

No, not “a waste” or “to waste”, just waste.

I’m fiddling with it at the moment, waste that is, seems really clever, just have to figure out how to get the daemon running on my linux server, but I have no doubt that I will be victorius 😉

oh, and my chillies are still growing!
