Idiots

Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better idiot-proof programs, and the universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the universe is winning.

And another thing…

I’m not really sure about my feelings about this, from http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/7619828.stm :

New Hitchhiker’s author announced

Children’s author Eoin Colfer has been commissioned to write a sixth instalment of the Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy series.

Maybe that universe just shouldn’t be tampered with by anyone but Douglas Adams…. Or maybe it will be a brillant followup that will enchant all of us for years to come?

It seems everyone has an opinion…

…about google chrome.

I’ve tried it in a virtual machine, so I can’t really comment on the speed of the browser, but there are several things I like. I like the sandbox idea and the incognito-mode and I really like that the project is Opensource! I don’t like that there isn’t a browser for linux yet, but it seems that it is underway 🙂
